Master Dao’s wisdom teaches us to follow 6 virtues to achieve peace in our hearts.

What is the Shaolin Virtue of Leadership?

The Shaolin Virtue of Leadership is about working together to solve problems. It is the most powerful virtue because when people unite, they can solve any problem together. True leaders require the command of all the other five Shaolin Virtues in order to be truly effective. When you provide leadership with others, problems are identified, solutions are provided, and appropriate action is taken. When you try to provide leadership on your own, your capability to resolve problems is greatly diminished and there is a potential to create even more problems.

How Will the Shaolin Virtue of Leadership Help Me?

By developing your Shaolin Virtue of Leadership:

  • You will be able to solve problems that you cannot otherwise solve on your own
  • You will foster a sense of well being in your community
  • You will benefit others by passing on the teachings of the Shaolin Virtues
  • You will reinforce and advance your understanding of the all the Shaolin Virtues, including how they interrelate and apply in real-world situations
  • You will find a sense of true purpose for yourself
  • You will be able to see solutions more easily

Why is the Shaolin Virtue of Leadership Important?

If you do not develop your Shaolin Virtue of Leadership:

  • You will not be able to connect with like-minded people
  • You will may cause more suffering in trying to help others
  • You will not be able to effectively help the masses find peace
  • You will not be able to contribute to the ‘success’ of mankind

How Do I Develop the Shaolin Virtue of Leadership?

  • Reinforce your Shaolin Virtue of Focus
  • Reinforce your Shaolin Virtue of Perseverance
  • Reinforce your Shaolin Virtue of Strive
  • Reinforce your Shaolin Virtue of Respect
  • Reinforce your Shaolin Virtue of Compassion

Pitfalls of the Shaolin Virtue of Leadership

  • Thinking that leadership means one person commanding others
  • Attempting to solve bigger problems on your own
  • Attempting to solve bigger problems with others when you are not ready (i.e you have not sufficiently developed the other Shaolin Virtues)

What Happens When I Apply the Shaolin Virtue of Leadership?

As you develop your Shaolin Virtue of Leadership:

  • You will be able to effectively make positive massive change with others
  • You will be able to effectively help others reduce their suffering
  • You will be able to effectively teach others
